Darth Vader Versus Voldemort - Who would win?

That is my deep question for all my Harry Potter/Star Wars loving friends out there. So far the consensus of those I've asked vote Voldemort.  I mean the Horcrux thing beats the force anyday!  Voldie could expelliarmus that lightsabre right quick!  Some argue Vader would crush Voldie's windpipe before he could utter an incantation, however one of two things would happen. Voldie would do wordless, wandless magic and Avada Kedavra Vader or Vader would kill him only to have the 7 horcrux dark wizard reappear and take him by surprise!  Register your vote with the poll on the right of this page!

Ah...the joys of stupid questions eh?

This week-end was a busy one!  It all started with Rhea arriving on Thursday night for Kate's bachelorette on Friday.  Friday all the girls met at Mysteriously Yours dinner theater for 6:30.  Ann had made a cute little veil for Kate to wear. Unfortunately, Kate didn't seem to think it was cute, but Ann put SO much work into it that we had to make sure she wore it ALL night.

Kate because of her special status was under suspicion for the crime committed.  The name of the show was Love Boat so the idea was we were all in the diningroom of a cruise ship called the SS Minnow.  And at the time of the crime Kate was in her cabin with the cruise's activities director Kato playing 'Mystery Date'.

After the show was over we all headed down the street to the Bow and Arrow for a few more drinks and conversation.

Saturday Kate, Rhea, Anna and I had a mission - to find Kate shoes to wear at her wedding.  After having to find shoes for myself for her wedding I didn't think it would be a quick or easy task. The fun thing is that most of the shoes at this time have spike heels or pointed toes, neither of which are good for my feet.  We certainly didn't want Kate wearing spike heels to walk up the cobblestone aisle and break an ankle. Luckily we found shoes within an hour and only 3 shoe stores.  After that search we were all pretty hungry and opted for dinner at Casey's.

We had a nice chat over dinner about the outstanding things needing to be organized for the wedding.  Just minor stuff now.  After dinner Kate had to leave because she had to go to work at 11pm as she had picked up an extra shift. So Rhea, Anna and I went and saw my Super Ex-Girlfriend which wasn't overly exciting.  Most of the best parts were what you already saw in the previews.

After that Rhea and I headed back to my place and we had a glass of wine before heading to bed.

I got up fairly early on Sunday even though I was still tired. I couldn't sleep though as I was really restless.  So Rhea and I had pancakes for brunch and then we went for a walk.  We walked all around the neighbourhood checking out all the million dollar houses! :D  We headed back around 2 because it started to rain and I figured I should get ready for the wedding I was attending that night.

A few weeks back I volunteered to be Greg's date to Voula and Jeremy's wedding.  This was going to be a very interesting and great wedding.  Everyone was going to be there and by everyone I mean Kate and Stu, Greg, Shawn and Ally, Adam and Frances, Anna and Mike and Jane.  The other reason it was going to be a good wedding is because it was incorporating traditions of both their religions and cultural backgrounds which are Jewish and Greek.

I really love the Jewish ceremony. It's so joyful and celebratory.  I especially loved the dance they did before the dinner in which they hoisted Voula and Jeremy in chairs.  It was so happy and you could see how much they are both loved.

The table we were seated at was a wonderful group.  It was me and Greg, Shawn and Ally, Anna, Jennifer, Mike and Jane and Darnell.  So one cool thing that happened was that I met Darnell who was a really cute friend of Voula's.  He was a real genuine person who had a lot of great stories to tell.  I hope he comes back to T.O at some point so I can get to know him better.

The evening wrapped up with me getting to take home the centrepiece because I was proclaimed the shortest person at our table.  We did a lot of dancing and the food was great! Voula and Jeremy sure know how to throw a wedding!
